Our Team

Our wonderful staff is the heart and soul of our program, so we employ only highly motivated, loving and caring individuals. Many of our employees have been with us for over 5 years and several have been with us 10+ years.

Teachers at our center are committed to life-long learning.

Each individual:

  • Receives a 30 hour basic training with a minimum 10 hours of on-going training, every year

  • Is certified in CPR and First Aid

  • Has HIV/Bloodborne Pathogens Training

  • Is trained to recognize and report child abuse and neglect

  • Holds a Washington Food Handler’s card

  • Has passed a Washington Criminal History Background Check which includes an FBI Check through Merit

We help facilitate our staff in attaining necessary training and encourage them to continue to grow professionally, benefiting them selves while further developing Children's Village of Orchards program.

Andrea has served as the Director of Children's Village of Orchards for over 30 years. She always tries to provide a positive environment for the children and their families. She has worked hard to build the community and family you know as Children's Village of Orchards. Her goal is to see the best in each and every child. She has her B.A. in Child Development.

In her spare time Andrea loves shopping and reading. She is always spending her off time looking for wonderful things to bring into our program and fun little classroom items!

Simona is our Front Desk all-star! She has been with Children's Village of Orchards for over 12 years.

Simona has experience working with all ages of children and is also a parent herself so she brings a wonderful perspective and light to our administrative team.

In her spare time she likes to spend time with her children and kitty cats.

At Children's Village of Orchards, we invite you into our family. We strive to create the most welcoming atmosphere as it is most important for our children to feel safe; when a child feels safe they are most open to education. We set developmental goals individually to create success for ALL children.
